Making connections.

There's a TV show called Word World which has replaced Barney and Blues Clues as Ian's favorite. It's so well done and fun to watch. Unfortunately it's been pretty much taken off the air. But we've downloaded past seasons. And there's one show with an in-between spot that has an "S & T" song. He just loves that little didi. And today in his bedroom, he kept pointing to the S and then the T and looking at me with a smile until I finally got it and began to sing the song. And later, while we were reading he did the same thing. Now every time he sees those two letters used together, he does the same thing!

And tonight while were reading one of his fav books we got towards the end and came across the word music. Something he spells to me multiple times in the day, whenever he wants me to turn it on in the car, or while requesting more songs be sung to him before bed. When he saw it he began flipping pages backward seemingly searching for something. I was trying to figure it out but it took me a while. We had to go back to the page and read it again before I realized that he was looking for the paragraph on page 1 where the word music had been used.

I remember Lila doing things like that. Making connections. Everywhere. So exciting to see!
