Sometimes I second guess myself. His articulation needs a lot of work. But to me, much of what he says is clear. And it's getting better all the time and more of his sounds are understandable to others every day.
He's also doing amazing in school. During "attendance" he spells many of his friends' names and also references them by pointing appropriately. Of course many of them have 3 letter names such as his. But he can also spell the more difficult ones.
They do neighborhood walks and he's walking further each day as well. They bring a wagon to help keep up with the group when he's hit his walking limit but they've figured out how to get him out before the group so he doesn't rely on that.
Music therapy at home is absolutely amazing! He's filling in the blanks to some songs when we leave him space to do so. My favorite, which I'll upload soon, is when he fills in the "I love you" portion of the Wheels On The Bus. Remarkable!
Now we just need to keep his blood sugars up and figure out that new mystery to avoid further set-backs. I'll address that in the next post.
