Hopeful departure

We r finishing our last FMT treatment at The Taymount Clinic this morning. From here we go straight to the airport to head back home. It’s been a very interesting trip. I know everyone will be watching him and curious for the next month or two. We have seen absolutely no change thus far. The clinic said usually could see something in the first couple months after treatment. Like so many times in his life, we will wait and watch and hope for the best. We certainly will do our best to make sure his diet is organic, non-GMO, low sugar, gluten free and diverse. That’s what they say could help. They also gave us some prebiotic powder to give him in case he doesn’t get enough prebiotic food in his diet. You bet he’ll be getting that every night.

Luckily we have enjoyed the island and the time together. The place we ended up staying was really lovely. A couple days ago the three of us just sat at the waters edge for about 2 hours  and let the warm water move us up the beach as the tide rose.  Of course Lila was exploring the rocks and finding bits of treasure.

Yesterday Lila and I joined a beautiful snorkeling adventure. Exploring underwater statues and coral solidified our desire to become certified scuba divers. After snorkeling  we enjoyed a private tour of the national heritage park and heard the history of the island from the original tribes settled here to Columbus and then the Royalists with their slaves. Quite interesting.
