Head, ears and sign for fast & Seeing a new Osteopath today.

Only have a minute to update but had to put this down. Ian now will touch his head when I ask as well as his ears! Yeah! I've been working on the nose and we are still not there but I'm fine with that.

We also read quite a few "opposites" books and when we get to slow and fast I just do it with my fingers up his body for slow and my hand moving across the book for fast. These are not the correct signs and I'm bummed I didn't think of that earlier. But now he's "signing" "fast" by moving his hand quickly across the front of his body. So amazing!

He's still obsessed with his piggies but one of our new thereapists gave me a way to slow that down and maybe get more from him. When he puts my hands on his toes, I now ask him to ask me for piggies. I help him with the signs for "I" (which he pretty much has down) "want" "pig". I think he'll get it and it'l slow down the reoccurring requests!

We are seeing Dr. Kathryn Gill today. She's an osteopath that a bunch of my friends take their kids to see. I've been wanting to see her for a very long time but was trying to get our prior doc, Dr. Eric Dolgin, to be covered by our insurance. I did a lot of leg work to have him considered an in-network provider but he won't share his notes with Blue Cross so they stopped covering anything from him quite a while ago. We just can't afford it not to be covered at all. It's a bummer. But he's also not really communicative at all and I'm really ready for some feedback when he is getting treated.

I've had friends say their child began walking and talking after visits with Dr. Gill. And she explains what she worked on and what the outcome should be. Of course I'm always looking for that miracle. Cross fingers!
