Home again :-)

Ian was discharged last night! Still wheezing and has a while until he's back to baseline but we can help him along at home. CHLA is much more lenient than UCLA was about releasing which I'm fine with. As long as I'm comfortable continuing here they let him go. 

Lila and Ian were so excited to see each other! They did their treatments together this morning and couldn't get enough of reading and playing together. It's so good to be home, no matter how chaotic it is here. The hospital is not conducive to healing. No rest and just not comfortable for anyone.

He didn't want to move in the hospital, didn't stand on his own in the crib or crawl around it at all. The only movement he was getting was being held by me and when I'd have him on my lap in a chair next to the crib to read and sing. Was really strange. His little legs were a bit shaky last night but we was cruising to the tub and down the hall no problem. He didn't use his IV arm at all while there either. But back to normal use now. Not sure why he avoided all that but glad to see everything working again with his super smile. He's so glad to be home as well!
