Another late-night pain episode

Last night Ian had what was his 2nd strange pain occurrence. He woke up after sleeping for a couple hours and started crying. Which escalated into what looks like major pain. He arched his back and screamed while writhing around the floor. I was physically unable to hold him because his moves are so strong I didn't feel safe to keep him in my arms.

This time he did this for about 30 minutes. Last time, which was a few weeks ago, it was about 45 minutes. That time we had called a neighbor to stay with our daughter and we were going to take him to the ER. For some reason we had walked into the kitchen with him and he was reaching for the fridge door. Not exactly sure why but we pulled out the applesauce and gave him some and as he mellowed out. Because of the prior experience, when he began to mellow a bit we tried the applesauce again. He went through 3 small bowls until I was able to really say "all done" and he wouldn't get upset.
I have no idea what this is. It just looks like he's in extreme pain. His last MRI was very much like the one before and both NS told us we didn't need to get another for 2 years unless his head began to grow rapidly again.

I posted on the M-cm FB page and one mom suggested it might be a Hypoglycimic issue that her son had. We went to see a new alternative dentist today (about his crowding teeth, extreme high palette, underbite and missing enamel) and she suggested the same thing. Her husband is a doc and deals with this kind of thing so he suggested we do a blood draw and look for Hemoglobin A1C which we will do.

Also sent the video to our ped and neuro so will see what they say.
