A lovely summer day!

My Sister-in-law is in town. She went with me to Ian's doctor appointment. The nurse that works with us was supposed to be here at noon so I could leave to pick up Lila at preschool by 12:30 but she was running really late so I just took Ian along. Then the four of us headed out for the afternoon. We had lunch, listened to some live music & did some dancing outside in the center we were in, returned some things at a store and just hung out a bit. It was such a lovely day! Lila had a great time, Ian got to get out and it just felt so "normal".

Last night I took him for a walk in his stroller, walking the dog, while Mike and Lila were on their bikes. Another "normal" evening. The thing that makes me anxious is that it seems every time we have some "normal" experiences, and I'm just getting used to it feeling nice, we end up back in the hospital again stepping back a few. Let's hope this time we just continue on the happy path!
