Sometimes little things he does are so remarkable

The light over Ian's seat in my van has been on for days. I keep forgetting to shut it off. So this afternoon I asked him to do it. He looked up, pushed it, and went back to his book! Seems silly to most but the fact that he listened, knew how to follow through and did it on the first try was so awesome! My heart did a super flip! I know he understands so much more than he often shows people. It's just a matter of slowing down the mind and paying attention. So thrilling these small moments 😊
