Yet another diagnosis is in the more serious stage which is
so sad. Ian’s scoliosis has gotten worse. It has gone from 17/19 to 24/23. Lots of progression just from April to November. If it gets to 50/45 he needs a fusion of his spine and to have rods placed. Very scary to imagine. We need to slow it down.
I spoke to his osteopath about it. She feels that she can help it as well as his holistic dentist/orthodontist. She also suggested we see a different podiatrist and look at inserts to balance out his feet and align his hips better.
We will have an MRI of the spine, heart and brain on the 21st. That will give us the info we need to understand what's going on and how to plan for treatment
