So frustrating that we are having a May with sickness. Aren't we finally moving into summer?
Ian had a fever and slight congestion the couple days before his MRI was supposed to happen. That morning seemed fine though. I actually called them at 9 to see if we could still come in but no chance. We are now scheduled for July 3rd. And the sleep study. He was doing pretty well most of the week. Lila had been sick and stayed with Grandma to try to keep it away from Ian. But we all were fighting something during the week. Mike had come home from a short biz trip with a bug.
I had been questioning whether we should go ahead with the study as late as Saturday morning just because he was slightly congested, but really not so bad. But then after keeping him from his nap (you are supposed to deprive them from sleep before the study) he was just a mess. He was fussy and falling asleep on the floor. Then I felt his forehead and he was hot. His temp ended up being 102.4! I just put him down for a nap and cancelled the study.
Next available appt... September 1st! Such a bummer. September he's probably sure to be sick. Lila will have just begun kindergarden and you know what that means ;-)

ugh! i so know how that goes. emmy was just sick too. but it was the first time she fought it off without a trip to the hospital, so that's pretty exciting! she has been sick all 5 times we've had her ABR hearing tests scheduled and we've had to cancel. it's scheduled for this friday. . .knock on wood we will finally get this done since we've been trying for a year!
