His shunt is working fine!

It was a busy week going back and forth to Children's Hospital. And the MRI shows the shunt is working fine, as Dr. Mc Comb sees it. The only explanation for Ian's head growing is that his Daddy has a large noggin, as did his Grandpa Bob. My head is not off the charts but it's on the higher end. Hopefully that's all it is.

Another wonderful thing Dr. M pointed out is that he feels Ian's PMG (his brain malformation) is not significant. In fact the radiologist reviewing the MRI didn't even point it out. It is still there of course but not significant. We'll take it!

The EEG was unsuccessful so we'll probably have to repeat it. I probably couldn't sleep either with twenty something electrodes stuck to my head and unable to move propped by pillows on either side. Of course he fell asleep the moment I started the car!

So we are off to Aptos to visit family. We will stay with my parents as Mike heads to England from SF Airport for a biz trip to his office over there. Should be a nice visit for us.

And back to it when we return to try for the pulmonary sleep study again.
