Sweet connection.

The adoration between Lila and Ian is truly amazing! It's just wonderful to see how they light up each other's lives.

Unfortunately this week Ian has a temperature and has had one on and off since Tuesday. Lila
was complaining
about a sore throat, just in the
middle of the night, as early as last weekend. But she would wake up and be fine. I took Ian in for his temp and the dr. wanted to see him with Lila the next day. They both checked out ok but when we arrived home that day Lila started to cough and sneeze! Thought it best to take her to Grandma's, especially since Mike is out of town.

So Lila had a sleepover with Grandma and I had Mr. Ianzee all to myself for a day. It was lovely! He's just so sweet. As is Lila as well. We are very lucky parents, Mike and I.

Trying to work out a trip to visit family. All the logistics of getting up north are quite daunting. I'm going over it again and again. The doctors said he could fly but I'm nervous. But I'm also freaked out about strapping him in his car seat for over 350 miles. He's not a good car guy. I drove him to a Osteopath in San Diego last week and, even with a friend along to help him deal, it probably took us over 3.5 hours with no traffic to get back.

We'll see how they fare with their sicknesses. If they just pass in the next few days, and I can procure a portable concentrator (which is quite hard to come by), I might just fly. His pediatrician, whom I truly respect, said it's the better choice. It's only a 50 minute flight and she, as well as his Pulmonologist, feels he'll do fine. Of course I'm worried about the whole thing, pressure, germs, etc. Will make a decision last minute.
