A quick post as I'm about to fall over from fatigue. But I realized if I don't post, people begin emailing directly to check in. So fabulous that we have so many who care.
After 4 nights of Ian and I in the hospital again we are back home, all of us together for the first time. My parents brought Lila back from Santa Cruz on Sunday. She was so excited to see Ian and have him home. Trick is making her understand what "gentle" means and how to go about it ;-) Other than that she's so into him, at least for now, and it's adorable to experience.
Dr. P worked on getting rid of the fluid in Ian's lungs by adjusting his Lasix dose and, at one point, even having it adminstered via his IV. It seemed to have worked and his lungs are now fluid-free.
We will take this week to adjust to the new family dynamic. Happy to have us all home but a bit anxious to see how our nerves will handle it... one deep breath at a time ;-)
