Ian update 4-1

Yesterday was a bad day so today was all about getting him stable again.

- His blood gases have been good all day and night.

- Vital signs stable

- No fever now

- Looks comfortable

- Oxygen went from 85% - 65% by evening time

- Started yesterday with Milranone and is on the same dose

- Red blood cells were a bit low, now at 37.3 want it to be 40, so they gave him another transfusion o regular blood today

- Platelets and plasma looked okay

 - Tummy measurement went down night before and this morning.

- They re-measured his head circumference was a bit larger last night and was the same today so they did another head ultrasound which came out fine. Still not sure why the increase in size which makes me a bit nervous. In addition to the Morphine, they added Hyrdromorphone (Dilaudid) to his pain meds and the nurse asked the fellow who thought this might be tripping his eyes out. I just spoke to the nurse (5:30am on 4-2) and she said there were times when his eyes looked normal, when he opened them and look directly at things with both eyes going the same direction.
