I'm so angry! Even though I'm such a freak about germs, I just woke up with pink eye. Of course I'll need to go to the doctor to verify it but I've had it before as a child and I know what it looks like. I just can't believe it! I just called Ian's nurse on tonight and she said I can't come in until the symptoms have cleared up. Looking it up on the web, it looks like it could take anywhere from 24-48 hours or longer depending on what kind it is. Right now I'm typing in rubber gloves. I am the biggest freak when it comes to hand cleanliness, especially since Ian's been born. How did I, of all people, get it.
It looks like you can't transfer it until you show symptoms so I hope I haven't given it to Lila or Mike. We finally got outside with our neighbors last night, which was so lovely. I just hope to goodness I didn't give it to any of them. We were out with 5 kids and 4 other adults besides myself. Of course, I didn't have symptoms at the time, so maybe I couldn't pass it yet. I don't think I really touched any of them but I did pick up a scooter now and then and I touched a stroller handle for about 5 seconds.
I was going to possibly be able to pick Ian up tomorrow. I'm so mad and sad. I just hope my doctor says it's the kind that goes away soon. If not, I'll completely loose it.
