Kelly from Positive Development started working with Ian two weeks ago. She's great! Floortime is A very different approach than ABA. But it just shows me how impatient I am as she is amazing at connecting with him. I do my best but eventually, it gets to me. Listening to him saying the same things over and over, listening to the same songs and stories. But I really believe it's going to be good as we go. She is taking his perseverations and adding to them. When he says he's "freezing" she says she is too. And then she asks what do we need when it's snowing like it is? And they go through all the things they need: a jacket, mittens, socks, a hat etc. I'm excited to see where it goes.
