"Home test" of altitude

Because we have this huge flight coming up and were nervous about the oxygen situation we thought we would test it ourselves. My niece and I drove in up to big bear the other day and he did fabulous. He did drop when we got to 8000. He was around 95, which isn't a huge drop. Katie and I also put the sensor on our finger to test our saturation and we were exactly the same. So there you go! 

A friend of mine, who has her own little concentrator, is going to loan it to us to bring with just in case. But we will have it just in case. If he gets sick or something  goes wrong. But to not have to force him to where the cannula for the whole flight will be so amazing.  What a change of a trip this will be without that constant fight 😊
