I can't help but record the amazing typing our sweet boy is doing. Just remarkable! We still need to work on the space key more but this is more proof of how important the iPad is for him to communicate.
Had a teacher conference at his school this morning. I love the school, the director and the teacher. And his new one on one is super sweet. But I'm having to "sell" the iPad use all over again as she doesn't understand it. I just feel like a broken record. And it just doesn't seem like in 2015 I should have to push the use of such an amazing communication tool. Just as I get everyone used to it we have changes again.
I know it's worth it I'm just tired. There's so much more to discuss as far as his development and what we all can be working on. The iPad should just be another tool... Just like the calendar up in the classroom or the shapes and numbers the children line up on when they are called on as they get "caught" following the expectations.
There's just so many things to focus on. The iPad sell really bums me out.
