Today we actually had a break in between school and Neurofit so we went to a park. Well, we drove to a park but ended up hanging out in the car playing. Ian has been really into sitting in "sister's seat" when we are without sister. Everytime we stop the car, he wants to sit in her seat. That turned into playtime between the seats and then "naptime" with the "awwww, cozy pillow" in the back. Was a lovely time.
Moving onto the point... driving to Neurofit from the park, we stopped at a light which was right next to the building we've been seeing our NAET doc in. Ian said, "I want waterfall" which took me a while to understand (I forgot his iPad at home today) but when I realized it I litterally began to tear up. He had recognized the building and in the atrium it has a couple of small but beautiful waterfalls and stone features. Was so great that he not only recognized it but voiced the fact that he did. I know he recognizes much more than he verbalizes.
And he was playing with this fake orange yesterday morning for a very long time. It breaks in half and has a magnet to bring it back together. He was flipping each half over and watching it spin and wobble. He spent a lot of time with it. So fun to watch!
His reading has become even more verbal as well. He's been reading out loud more often. He's just a remarkable child. So sweet and fun.
