Ian has always liked it when I sign words he says. Each letter at a time. He did recently get really into the word, moon, maybe because he began collecting these pods that he calls moons because they are kind of in the shape of a crescent.
But the last couple days, he's really been into the Letter Sounds song... "Do you know these letter sounds? They will help you learn to read. They will help you learn to read... apple, apple, aaa...." He grabs my hand and wants me to sign "apple" then "a" then "baby, b" then "cookie, c". Over and over and over. And he gets really frustrated if I don't. His perseveration is getting worse.
On a good note, he spelled stairs in the bath last night correctly ;)
