Singing, opening water bottle and making connections between words and concepts

Ian's been singing bits of songs quite a bit lately. We were in the dollar store and he saw the Frozen Food sign, spelled F-R-O-Z-E-N and then said "Let It Go". I began to sing the song leaving out bits for him to fill in. He did so with ease. It was so loud I couldn't really get it recorded properly but was pretty amazing.

In PT at NAPA yesterday he was singing the whole 10 Little Monkey's Jumping On The Bed song himself. I had to prompt kind of beginning each number but he kept it going. I'll upload a bit of that later today. Also singing Slippery Fish. Of course with these songs only I can completely understand what he's saying but others can get a lot of it.

And yesterday we were having a salad in the car in between school and our first of 3 hours of therapy. I was saying yummy chicken and he said bock, bock. Continued by spelling chicken, then rooster. Amazing boy!

And lastly, he had his robot water bottle which is one of those stainless ones with the pull-up plastic spout. He had it during OT and it was closed. He pulled up the spout by himself and drank. He's never done that before! I haven't even worked with him on that one. He's good with the flip-up straws but I've always opened the others for him. Not sure why but so cool that he can do it now!
