Quick update on today

A quick update for those who heard/saw the ambulance and are wondering
what's up with Ian. He has a cold that turned into a scary cough this
morning. Was up the 2 nights before coughing all night with breathing
treatments going. This morning after 3 treatments in a row he was
still scaring me with his breathing. And after unsuccessfully trying
to get a hold of his Pulmonologist and his pediatrician I called 911.

He was much more stable by the time they arrived as he was rcving his
4th treatment. Amazing guys agreed to take him to CHLA. They started
another treatment when we arrived and did a total of 3 within the next
hour. He ended up shaking and his hear rate was 185 before I requested
they return to xopenex instead of albuterol. It helped but he still
had a few coughing fits and the nurse felt his lungs were still tight
so they decided to admit him.

He's now doing better. We'll see how the night goes. They did a nasal
wash and swab to run some tests. If the night goes well and test come
out negative we should be home tomorrow.
