Welcome Ian Wesley Abercrombie!

Please help us welcome Ian Wesley Abercrombie :-) He was born last night, 3-19, @ 11:10pm & he’s 8lbs 13oz and 21 1/2”. Ian will share my brother Dave’s birthday, as well as my nephew Josh’s & our sweet young friend Taylor Vickerman’s birthday as well. March is quite the popular birthday month!
  
 Ian is still in the NICU but they tell us he seems stable. Of course he’s much bigger than most NICU babies which is nice for us. But even after my 23 day stint here in the hospital to try to allow him to mature in my big Buddha belly his lungs still were not fully developed due to me being only 36 weeks along.  He’s also got a few other issues they are monitoring while he’s there. Unfortunately at this time we’re not really sure how long he’ll be here.

 What can we say? He’s just a sensitive guy who knows what he wants... and that was to be brought into this world and finally meet his Mommy, Daddy, Grandma & Grandpa. Thankfully they made it and were able to be with us doing this whole thing.

 Because he was delivered via C-section, my stay at this fabulous establishment will last until no earlier than Tuesday. At which time I will finally be able to head home to my sweet little Lila Rae and, hopefully, take Ian along! Where I will gladly make my own tea & toast, change my own sheets, and bring out my own trash ;-)
