So this is what my 2 3/4 y.o. little Lila said to me on the phone this morning. She's with my sister and her family on the way to Disneyland. I was originally supposed to go with them but obviously that's not gonna happen now. I wanted to chat with her before they went so my sister called me and handed her the phone.
She picks up the phone and says, " Hi Mom. I'm on a bus to Disneyland right now. I'm having a play date with Mickey today. We're watching an Arielle movie. Minnie & Pluto just texted me and I'm gonna see them in 15 minutes. Bye Mommy!"
I assumed my sister figured out some new way to get in to see Minnie's house via text and mentioned it to Lila. But she said she has no idea where it came from.
That was our conversation. Where did this girl come from? And how old is she anyway?? Am I even more messed up than I'm aware of and maybe have been in here longer than I think? She's talking to me like she's a pre-teen! So crazy!
