But no matter how you look at it, shoving a long needle like thing into your veins and pumping toxic liquid through it is bound to be a bit sore. Working it out, if I've got 10 days left until 36 weeks, and the IV needs to be switched every 3-4 days, that means I could get away with only 3 more. Plus I guess I need to have one while I'm getting my C-section done and for a day after that. So that makes 4. It's something I'll never get used to, that's for sure. Guess the pain from the C will far surpass it so I'll probably not even think about the last one.

Darn that hurts!
Left, right, left, right.... and next will be left. Had to have my IV switched again today. Darn that hurts! Polly, my nurse for today, did a fabulously quick job of getting it in. Not quite as smooth as Barbara, who gave me a local before she put it in (probably cause she heard I was such a woos with the whole thing) but much better than another nurse (who will remain nameless) who tried twice but had trouble with my traveling veins and gave up. That was brutal!
